I am a fanatic college student from SoCal who splits her time between her home there and her beloved school in St. Paul, Mn. I discovered Firefly during the initial run on stupid Fox and fell in love immediately. I think that may have even happened when I realized the implications of fully realizing the oft-used sci-fi metaphor of a Western, but in space. I love everything about the show and every character is fantastic.
I will admit to having a strange fondness for Jayne, however. I knitted the hat, am learning "Hero of Canton" on my guitar, used the "if wishes were horses" quote as my senior quote in the yearbook, and even analyzed the character for my Psych class senior year. I also love my Indy-esque Cap'n and have a bit of a crush on Simon. But I love all my Big Damn Heroes!!
I also like things not Firefly-related, although they sometimes take a backseat to the Big Damn Show ;) Check out my livejournal for more info on me!
