According to Ain't it Cool News, the Albuquerque Journal reports a source as saying that the "The Avengers script will blend 'Iron Man', 'Thor', and 'Captain America: The First Avenger' story lines as the Avengers battle with two alien races, the Skrulls and the Kree."

Interesting, wonder how they'll do the makeup. It's sounding good already. Going with canon species instead of making up their own (the studio heads I mean)
