Stephen J. Cannell gave me countless hours of enjoyable television to watch when I was growing up. Sad to hear that he has passed. I'm sure there was a lot more stories he could tell.

And, of course, a lot more poker with Castle.

now of course there has been speculation that he was the ghost writer for "Heat Wave", and "Naked Heat"

if he were, think we'll get an acknowledgment now that he's passed?

if there is no statement do we assume that it wasn't Mr. Cannell?

He was involved in so many great shows that I watched in the late 70's and through the 80's.
A true legend in TV.

Interesting point about the ghost writer for the Castle novels. They may announce it if it was him but that would take away from the mystery of it all so I don't think they will. If it was him they'll probably just get another writer. Of course that would mean people might pick up on the different writing style.
I always thought it was the other the other writer at the poker table, I can't remember his name (Patterson??).

Aww, damn. End of an era.

I watched Renegade, The Commish, and was hooked on Silk Stalkings at one point...

He always did seem like a cool guy.

Let the paper rip from the typewriter (that was his end of show signature thing).

I remmember how the A-Team would get in a firefight with thousands of rounds of ammunition spraying everywhere and no one gets hit. Then George Peppard would smile with his cigar in hand and say "I love it when a plan goes together."
