I have to admit, I loved the return of the brown coat, and the fact that Castle quoted Jayne: "I was aiming for his head!"

(hehe)

...As Nathan has said, they get shout-outs to Firefly, etc. in where they can, so I doubt it's pure coincidence.

What an enjoyable episode!

aagh! Am so frustrated here in Australia we have been subjected to a fragmented season 2 of Castle. They played a few episodes then did some repeats...played a few more and now we have more repeats It will be ages before I ACTUALLY SEE THESE EPISODES!!! Damn it.
on another note, I went to the local department store to buy season 1 on DVD, and their whole shipment of Castle was stolen by a Sydney crime gang. shows how popular the show is here. They apparently schlepped all the way from Sydney to Raymond Terrace to steal DVDs because they assumed they would be less likely to be caught in a small rural town. Happily their plan backfired on them, and after a year of police being after these lowlifes they got caught due to the excellent positioning of security cameras in our rural town store and Mall... Ha! chalk another one up for the little people.
