I finally got through with all of Farscape (from Netflix) and saw The Peacekeeper Wars. I was totally blown away.
As it was as a result of a thread on other sci-fi shows Firefly fans might enjoy that I started Farscape in the first place, I just thought I'd give a collective thank you to whoever posted in that thread (I've long since forgotten) as that was some of the best TV I've ever seen.
Absolutely fantastic. The only sci-fi I can think of that could possibly be better is Serenity.

I bought the dvd. Farscape certianly caught my attention more than most other sci-fi shows, even if I didn't exactly 'get' it all, or watch each episode religiously. There seemed to be a heartfelt love for this show by the actors/writers that went beyond the mere 'love of the work' attitude. It didn't match what I've seen from the Serenity crew, but it was there.
" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

I was living in England and caught the first Farscape episodes. My first reaction was, "OMG, I'm so desparate for television I'm reduced to watching muppets in space." By the third episode I was totally hooked and couldn't find anything else to love until Firefly came along...
My time in England was also blessed with Buffy and Angel when I could find them. They changed programming schedules more often than Fox! ;-)

"Appears they've canceled the show and we're still here. What does that make us?"
"Big damn junkies, Sir!"
"Ain't we just."
