The Imani Institute Leadership Academy is a military cadet program offered by The Imani Institute Charter Middle School.

Imani Institute is a charter school (privately funded public school[non-profit])that focuses on 'at risk' students. The Leadership Academy is something of an R.O.T.C. within the school run by yours truly.

These are great kids and they deserve the best. However, when you're private non-profit, you don't have much cash. My 'zazzle' account pays directly to an account maintained for purchasing things for the cadets like uniforms, boots, rank pins, ribbons, medals and other equipment, because some of our kids simply cannot afford it.

I intend to be offering a complete line of posters and T-Shirts, both Academy and Firefly related. Feel free to ask any questions.

The poster IS photoshopped. . .our heroes are taken from a screen cap from "The Train Job". . .the Apache is my bird, "Voodoo Child", the picture was snapped by Spidermonkey, my crewchief, while we were in Afghanistan.

I believe that's the academy Static works for. It has to do with inner-city youth.

The flight suit is neither bullet-proof or eye-proof. . .it's just a black, one-piece, zipper from neck to naughties, flight suit.
