Inara in Serenity?

Having just completed the entire series on DVD, I'm just wondering about Inara's place is going to be in the movie.

Is the actress going to be reprising her role in the film, considering that, by the end of Objects in Space, she was planning on leaving the ship? Has there been any news on this? Will it be dropped for the simple fact that it may be confusing to non-fans? What do you guys think?

She is in the movie. No worries.

Yes, she is in the movie. When the movie was first officially announced, it was very clear that all 9 actors would reprise their roles. She's also in several photos from the set of Serenity that are going around, and in the short teaser shown at two or three of the conventions this past summer.

She's in the movie and word is you'll get answers to the questions you raised, specifically to the issue of 'OIS '.
