I've been thinking I'd like to know how to put together a music video, because I like a lot of them. So I had a go at a short one of my own!
Trouble is, I've not done this before, and in consequence it's a bit, well, sucky.
If anyone has time to offer advice, it'd be appreciated. I put it up at: http://homepage.mac.com/nedward/index.html
Much obliged.
PS: Warning: Simon & Garfunkel cover inside. Just so you know. (I don't plan to make a habit of it!)

What I like about this is the solemn song with the battle scenes. I like where you're going with this. Can't help you with anyhing really, just thought your idea seems good. :)

Definitly a great concept!
The only thing I'd change is that there is (especially at the beginning) places where, black scene black, where the scene is far too short. Makes it a little disorienting. If you could find a way to lengthen the scenes in acouple place (most are fine
) it'd improve it a lot.
I look forward to seeing where you take this

I wish I could comment! I don't have a codec to view this file. That always seems to be the case with me. But for the audio, can you have the segway between the Wash quote and the music fade instead of cut?
Maybe you could share with me the secret to ripping audio/video from my DVDs? I've got it in my head to do one of these, too, but I can't even get started.

Thanks guys, always good to get advice. I'm hoping to finish it sometime this week, if I can.
Saint Jayne: I didn't rip specifically to make this vid, I ripped the DVDs a while back to tide me over when all my sets were out on loan (as is the case now, as it happens). I'm a Mac user at home, so I'm happy to advise on that front, but if you're on Windows I'm not the best person to ask!

Your kind to offer, and I use all types of computers, but my Mac doesn't have a DVD reader on it. It's probably for the best. Some people seem to think that Firefly shouldn't be set to German metal music. =)
