"At the battle of Serenity Valley Alliance soldiers sported helmets very similar in design to the German helmets of WW2. By 2517 however a new helmet and armour configuration was in widespread use among Alliance forces.
(Of course the armour and helmet sported by troopers in 2517 are reuses of the armour developed for the movie "Starship Troopers," disproving the belief that no good could come from that film.)"
Something good always comes from Fireflyfans.net

I was quoting someone else that made a funny point. But no, troopers was less than excellent. Good bugs, but bad acting.

Simon: I can't really tell, they don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

And the movie was too clean. I mean, when they were in an bug alien tunnel, they was just clean cut tunnel walls. But you see in "Aliens" the walls are all covered in goop and alien ooze and such. And plus, the wrong chick died! Dizzy should have lived, and what's her face pilot girl should have crashed or something. And the acting=bad.
