Now onto bidness...
The Website for "Firefly the Virtual Series" is up and running! It will still be a few weeks before the first Episode is ready and the site itself is a work in progress but the credits, Episode guide (for season 2) and Cast Guide are ready for your viewing pleasure.
We hope this will help curb the space dementia as we await 4.22.05!

Without looking at the website itself, what's the concept behind this? Flash animation? Fanfics? :shrugs:

what disturbs me is that there is this idea always floating around that joss future projects HAS to have an appearence from a former buffy/angel cast member(yes i know this is a virtual season,so i should shut my mouth)it implies that wittle joss is nothin without smg or db,now i love btvs and ats but this is not in that universe so let it rest.yes i miss those shows but its over(for a very long time it seems)so just enjoy what we are given now-- a big damn movie in less than 6 months.now to wrap up this rant im also 99% sure that smg will "play" a different character so good luck with season 2.

the flash animation thing was a great idea. I do some flash animation... maybe I'll do an episode. Do you think people would like that?

If you're talking a "pythonesqu" kinda of animation I know that *I* would love to see it and I could more than likely host it for you if the file was say 30mb or less.

I hate to be the dead squirrel under the floorboards of your hunting shack, and I *wish* I had the ambition to run a site like this and write fanfic, but there seem to be kind of a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes...

I have my own virtual series in the works (a diffrent fandom though) and I was wondering how you did your opening credits.

The first thing you need is source material. This can be ripped from DVD's or captured from TV or VHS (with the right equipment and/or software)or it can be downloaded.
After that you need a video editing program. I use something called HT Video Editor but you can also use Windows Movie Maker which comes standard on any windows based machine and can be upgraded for free at Microsoft.com.
Then it's really just a matter of playing around with the program and finding out what you can do and then creating the credits.
