I put the everything but the link in the 2nd post because it was screwing up the formatting and the text was bleeding off the side of the page.

Quote:

NPR’s Tamara Keith and Amy Walter of the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter join William Brangham to discuss the latest political news, including President-elect Donald Trump's success with young men and the electoral gender divide.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM, PBS NEWSHOUR: I want to turn back to Laura's piece that she just did about this — quote, unquote — "manosphere" and just the incredibly effective way that Trump reached out to these young men online, the way he did it, and their incredible reception to the way Trump was making his pitch to them.

How do you see that dynamic?

...

AMY WALTER, COOK POLITICAL REPORT: You know, I have been talking to a lot of folks who study this both before, during and then after this election.

And it is — this Gen Z gender divide is really quite fascinating, and it goes much beyond our politics. I mean, there definitely was a gender divide on Election Day, the kind of which we had never seen before in a place like Pennsylvania. Among the youngest cohort of voters, the gender gap was 62 points.

Just to put that in context, the overall gender gap was like 25 or 26 points in that state.

BRANGHAM: Incredible.

WALTER: What we see — what we're seeing right now is that more and more of these young men are using these sites, whether it's TikTok or the podcasts or YouTube as a way to build community. This is a generation of young men who feel very disconnected, who feel very lost, who feel left behind.

And these are the places that they go to find that community. What I noticed as well is, it's not just that Trump went to those places, but the organic way in which conversations that started off about sports or video games would also then lead into the host themselves talking about, oh, hey, did you see Trump go into McDonald's? Did you see Trump was at the fight?

(CROSSTALK)

BRANGHAM: The UFC fight.

WALTER: The UFC thing. And so he became part of it, even though — so we know this. The best candidates are able to meet voters where they are, and that's what he was able to do.

Well yeah... You've spent the last 4 or so decades invading all of the men's spaces from their jobs on down to a community level. There is no such thing as a men's community anything anymore. Outside of maybe seeing their dad play poker with his friends once a month if he's one of the lucky ones, their dad's probably never had any friends outside of "marriage friends" not long after he got married.

Gen X remembers their grandfathers in these men's spaces. Older Gen X remember their own fathers in these spaces. I've been to Knights of Columbus both in the mid-80's and in the late 2010's. Not even in the same ballpark of each other. When I went with my grandpa so he could show me off to his Knights of Columbus buddies, that scene stays in my mind like any given non-violent scene with the boys on the Sopranos. The last few times I went with my mom and step-dad it was like a baby shower by comparison.

Now those Gen Z boys, some of them just old enough to vote, are teenagers who on an instinctual level know that there should be men's spaces but don't see any. Not in their community, and certainly not on Hollywood created TV, movies and streaming services.

So of course they're going to rebel and go full-on hyper masculine and flock to things like the UFC and people who talk and act like they all do.

You should see these introductory videos they have for the defending champions and the challengers at the beginning of one of the paid events. Right before they have a few of the lesser events of the night leading up to the Title Card, they put together these awesome videos about the fighters.

I'll admit that I don't even know how much of these things

If you compare it to Empires they have probably crossed 'the Rubicon' we are probably long past 'Marcus Aurelius' we have probably fully Rome but maybe gone Greek collapse mode, and maybe all the tv shows, the Top Guns, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Taylor Swift, the pornos, the liberalization of booze and drugs, the soap operas, the UFC MMA is the bread and circus of the Empire

eventually they took 'Anonymous' found the original hackers, arrested or interrogated them and turning it into a mouth piece for FBI politics? it was gone, defeated by police but it suddenly all dead accounts reactived, they re-emerged during Level 5 Lockdowns to support George Floyd protests and the Burning and Looting of cities, a convicted felon made into a 'Saint' by mainstream news media and 'Anonymous', although I read allegedly its not fully controlled, a guy Jeremy Hammond was still an anarchist and not fully under their control, originally a peace activist, organizing a student walkout on the day of the Iraq invasion and starting a student newspaper to oppose the Iraq War.

Remember how close we came with all this tech censorship and social distance rules, I never thought I would see PirateNews style nonsense memes silly exaggerated news meme gossip about 'Flu-Jabs' come true.

the cities could be a death trap and Big Tech could turn on us again, even faster with this AI Drone stuff happening.
and remember the hypocrites, the elites having their Spas and facial massage and haircuts, the political elites of California pushing Level 3, 4 and Level 5 Biohazzard lockdowns, Niel Gaiman a Hollywierdo guy people fawned over now having his own 'MeToo' issues goes off to interviews in Canada then Lockdown gets worse travelled to New Zealand to relax and get inspire and travels from New Zealand to his holiday home on the Isle of Skye, breaking the lockdown rules...that he himself was pushing politically and screeching for Trump voters to be arrested!?

Maybe we came very close to BigTech the new Technocracy taking over, Gen Alpha is the next one some put Generation Alpha as those after the 2000s which would be as old as 24? other say born between 2010 and 2024, others will rank it 2013 to 2025 next year, which makes the oldest now 14? all of these had their Lockdowns, social distance...some might have psychological damage

Will Gen-Z seen through the smoke screen the smoke and mirrors trick of Left vs Right used to divide. You could say there was still choice in the USA, a lunatic like LaRouche was running and got interviewed and then Ross Perot 1992 presidential campaign on tv and in a debate as an 'Independent' but later a whole Team A vs Team B stage show takes over. The modern Antifa thing is Germanic foreign, the Germans have a lot of psychological guilt after the Wars and its politics different to a lot of Western trends its born from Germany's 70s and 1980s, West Germany's abandoned buildings and squatter scene, instead of knocking down old buildings the government allowed people to take a derelict abandoned home if they would improve it and then 1990s the Wall comes down, the Marxists and Punk rockers. The Artists, Musicians move to cheaper places and get into fights with the 'Rightwing' Skinheads although doesn't the word 'socialism' come with the term Nazi-Socialism? The idea of Conservatism was more of a dirty word, during the NeoCon era. Little Bush starting endless wars then in other parts of the world England you had Thatcherism in alliance with Reagan as he gave Lebanon to the Iranians telling US Marines to run away. Thatcher closing the Welsh coal mines and tell them all to pack their bags and go to London to get a banking job. RINO NeoCons and Zionist warhawk faggots like Lindsey Graham who kiss the ass of Saudi ruined Conservatives, the damage still lasting.

While I have said we could be in a cultural decline for many, many decades I have said movies and 'music' are getting worse and worse but now Gen-Alpha c

All the more reason why it will be exceedingly easy to get a decent job this time around when I decide I want to go back into the work force.

It was nice to have set myself up where I could avoid all the DEI bullshit.

That all came and went and I didn't have to put up with it for a single day.

Bonus was, I didn't get whatever poison they were telling you was a vaccination too, although that didn't keep you dummies from shedding on me.
