Even my old man knows who Grace Randolph is after all the Disney shilling last year and he'd heard about her giving it the first and only positive review in the first 24 hours reviews were up. He's also aware of the $50 per review a lot of these "critics" that aren't counted in the Top Critics get for reviews that are 3 stars or higher.
When I mentioned how bad Borderlands did and that Bruce didn't have the production budget up yet, he said it would be funny after it fails if Lionsgate came out and said it wasn't so bad because their marketing budget was only $50... Thanks Grace!

I'd watch a Secret of Money Island movie made under the right circumstances. And if it was good I'd actually look forward to LeChuck's Revenge.
Pirate movies are a pretty hard sell. They managed it with Depp's Pirate movies, but 9 times out of 10 I think that a Secret of Monkey Island movie would make Cutthroat Island look like a masterpiece by comparison.
How would they even be able to make it funny? Hollywood has no sense of humor in current year.
