Final Fantasy 8 (Liberi Fatali) is probably the oldest game on that list and that's about when I tuned out of games for 10 years. Everything else on this list looks to be PS4/XBox One or newer, and I haven't played any of those.
Glad that she likes it, but by the time we had the earliest game on his list, we had CD music and you could put full orchestral music on your games if you wanted to. While you get plenty of good music out of games after we started using CD/DVD and then made the switch to digital downloads, it's really not the same as pure Video Game music like we grew up with, IMO.
I'm more impressed with how people were able to code music into the early games before we could just record an orchestra or band playing something and put it in the game.
I've been playing the hell out of an old Arcade favorite called Rolling Thunder, and I'm trying to speedrun it. Maybe get myself a record. I forgot how awesome that soundtrack was.
Perfect spy thriller music here, and when it picks up to the "high" at 1:22 it really gets you pumped.
My only problem now is that I'm getting so good at the game that I never even hear that part anymore because I already beat the levels before it even gets there.

And even though I appreciate that he did a few From Software games, he didn't really hit any Indie games which is a shame because they've got some pretty AWESOME soundtracks too, especially considering their tiny, tiny budget compared to the AAA space.
I know I've posted this one in the Music II thread at some point, but they didn't have the (all 4 variations) version like they do now.
The "4 variations" is really cool, because they all play in the same area, but depending on whether or not your outside, or in a building or underground, the music changes on the fly between all 4 versions without missing a beat. My favorite version of this song is the one when you're outside and you hear the woman humming along with it. (Starting at 5:10, with another non-singing version in the middle, and picking back up with an alternate singing version at 15:29 which is probably the best one). When you go underground, it even has a sort of "muffled/echo" effect as if the instruments are kind of bouncing off the walls of the caves.
I think I like this song so much too, because it makes so much good use of silence and negative space... which then gets filled in somewhat by the woman humming and singing softly along with it in other versions, complementing it perfectly. Most video game music beats you over the head with, well "beats" constantly through the loop. This game is comfortable with being low key in certain areas, and saving more dramatic music for the harder areas and parts that call for drama.
Ender Lilies is an excellent game for anybody who likes Metroid/Castlevania (Metroidvania) style Action RPG games, and a really dark theme.
It's probably got 12 to 15 songs, and except for boss battles there are alternate versions of most of the songs for when you're up on the surface or deep underground.
There isn't a single bad song on this game's ST. This is probably my 2nd personal favorite...

And I don't know if this guy is using AI or if he's programming this on his own with some cool program, but WOW!!!!! He made the whole orchestra, and put a ton of his own flare on it.
Nah... It can't be A.I. It's just too good.

Isn't Fallout 76 an always-online game that everybody hated 5 or 6 years ago when it came out? I'm surprised it's still even up and running.

some of the show was online for free...even for free and high quality copy uploaded I refused to watch
in the show I did notice some type Gayness or type of Lesbo Butch thing, a Black Albino Homosexual Gay thing came out of nowhere and the Female beats up the Big Dude...I watched a little but kinda got bored or disgusted with the writers or just annoyed, I didnt finish the show as it was mostly the same as Season1 but with lots of SJW Gay Lesbo DEI Virtue Signal politics or 'multi culture' quota casting whatever you call it

S1 is ok, S2 seems to be almost the very same story as S1 repeating but with more Feminism Gay Soddomite messages or something...I never finished as it just seemed to be a 'Gay' version of S1 but with less Alien Battles.
if you quit after S1 and just imagine the rest, make up the rest of the show unwatched but in your head then its ok to watch

Thanks for the breakdown. I wasn't a huge HALO fan myself but my brother was huge into it. I don't think I'll be watching it, even if it was good all the way through.
They should have just made another series of Red vs. Blue and called it a day, huh?
