That's going to be a bummer for my buddy's wife. She had a video go viral back in the summer and she's been making bank there ever since.
I kept telling them that she needed to diversify and get herself on other platforms and let her subscribers know she had a presence elsewhere. I just talked to him again about that last night and she never did that. I wasn't even aware that anything was impending when I said it. He'd just brought up what they were up to since getting back from a vacation and her making her videos came up.
I just Googled this and it looks as though TikTok shutting down on Sunday is a thing that is happening.
