"Red Green" was a Canadian comedy program starring Steve Smith and it ran for over 12 seasons up here.
I had gotten about half way through it before I moved but I've picked it up again. Laugh out loud stuff, I tell ya.
It takes place at a mythical place called "Possum Lake." Show also starred Patrick McKenna and included Grahame Greene as a semi regular.
You should look it up. You might like it.

I might check out an episode or two. 12 seasons is a pretty tall order. I can't even start Game of Thrones since 8 seasons of that sounds like homework to me now.
Any episode that you recommend starting with?
