As of this point, Jussie refuses to be re-interviewed by police. However, the Chicago Police Department, while saying it is continuing its investigation along new lines, has also said that the "hoax" story is so far unfounded.

The event may have been STAGED by a well fairly well known citizen. The event was NEWS regardless of how it came to be. The possible STAGING of the EVENT is further NEWS. Thanks for being a Troll.

If the event was reported as real (which it was), and pounded on by anti-Trumpers as if it were real (which it was) even tho it was (or might have been) a staged event ... how did it come to be reported as "fact"? Where is all of that FACT CHECKING that reporters are supposed to do before they go running off to their 'puters? Isn't that what REPORTERS are supposed to do? Heck, if they can't even be bothered to sort fact from hoax, what value are they adding to the process?

NONE, as far as I can tell. They may as well go work for those gossip rags at the checkstands because that's all they do is pass along gossip. Apparently can't be bothered to do any investigation or put any thought into their "reporting" at all.
