Title oughta get the flamers knickers in a bunch..

I seriously love the show and don't understand all the negative crap i'm reading.
I don't have any issues with continuity or canon and if I find any I can easily overlook and watch it as a stand alone (it is just a TV show..)
The special effects are brilliant. The acting is outstanding with clever intelligent dialogue. This alone makes me worry for its future.. the good shows never really stand a chance.

Meh, The Orville is better Trek.

I've actually starting hearing good things about STD >giggle< now the first couple of episodes are out of the way.
Not enough to get me to sign up for the streaming service, though.

Seriously, no I'm not passing judgement.
The only reason I haven't watched it is because I have to pay for the CBS streaming service.
I already have Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu.
No, I am not going to get another one just for one show.*

I was just kidding when I said The Orville is better Trek.
I find it funny lots of people are saying that along with bashing Discovery.
I don't quite understand the hatred for the shows coming from the opposite sides.
I figured everyone would be happy that we have TWO shows we can watch.

*I will eventually become a hypocrite with that since I fully intend to join Stargate's service when their new show comes out.

I wasn't aware of a new stargate show coming out. That'l be something to look forward to.

Be prepared to eat humble pie when you finally get around to watching Discovery.

Stargate: Origins will be a prequel covering the time from when the Stargate was dug up in Egypt up to the original movie.
It'll be 10 ten minute episodes on the Stargate streaming site. Whoo-boo. Eh, it's something.

I'll gladly take my portion of humble pie if Discovery turns out to be good.
