Sorry, Nathan, but I won't miss it. Been running on fumes for a couple of years anyway.

I agree with ECGORDON. It lasted a couple of seasons too long.

Rumor is he'll be in the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Or...anyone know what Joss is up to nowadays?

yep..long overdue.. love my captain, and have really enjoyed the Castle cast and guest stars through th years...but the show got lost and you could really tell when the old hand at the helm lost interest and the new gay guy directors took over...the entire flavor of the show and even how some of the cast were being directed to act was just wrong....

still.. Castle and Fillion got to poke it in the eye of the Fox execs that mucked up my Firefly

Probably for the best. The show hasn't really had any purpose of late. Kate solve the big mysteries in her life and they tried to tack on more, but it just didn't work.

The GOOD news is they also dumped "Nashville" and the "Muppet Show"

Whoa! When were they on Total Request Live?! Any beautiful bean footage of that?

As for "Castle", the show shoulda definitely ended after season 7. Hollander's Woods coulda easily been used as a dignified series finale. All major plots were resolved, and Castle even got an awards' banquet with all his friends and family. And it woulda been better than the show running out of gas, steam, and minor guest stars*. Sure, Jewel Staite just guested, and the episode was actually closer to a normal quality, but it was also forgettable (another episode about theatre?) and the killer was easily guessable. Maybe Nathan can do Alan Tudyk's "Con Man" more than part time, now.

*The guy who was the auctioneer killer from season 3 'Last Call', I spotted a few episodes ago driving Castle's British assistant who's name escapes me.

Find here the Serenity you seek. -Tara Maclay

Bummer.
I didn't see any head's-up for Jewel's episode. Gotta watch for the reruns now, I guess.
