Yeah, it's hard to tell. But I went to university with a lot of people from NYC and NJ, I think I've heard every possible accent from "the boroughs", and I'm pretty sure it's not any of those. It doesn't sound like Boston or anywhere in the NE either. Maybe our international contingent can help out!

The accents in the link you post do not show they are from America or Britain or from anywhere other than where they are now. Not even close. Nor does the first video you post. It is someone who is rushing to get somewhere and it is brief. The fact that you think it worthy of posting as though it is uncovering facts shows your desperation to point west. Even if this is someone from the west it further proves the point that you search relentlessly to find pro-Russian agenda. Thousands of Russians poured into Crimea and Eastern Ukraine along with tanks and other armaments which you repeatedly denied despite all the evidence. This really makes me laugh.

What I find most interesting is that you watched the first video you posted to the point where we hear the phrase out of my face, out of my face please. Aside from this, the rest of the posted video is in Russian I believe, and without subtitles. This little bit of English doesn’t show up until 3:30 into the video. I did not have a clue as to what was going on. Why would you be watching this unless you understood what was being said? I think this sums up what we here have been saying about you and 1kiki.

Why do you feel the need to argue with those who are posting only lies and propaganda? Why not create substantive threads if you have the desire to converse? I've had a long time interest in accents, dialects and figuring out from where people come , just by how they speak.

Most don't peg me from where I come correctly, however.

Words can betray people, and reveal their country of origin.

You're quite right. I am missing the significance of the " Russian trolls " meme.

I've stayed out of that nonsense, as I feel it's a rabbit hole which serves no purpose to climb into.

I was commenting on the English being spoken in the given videos. Nothing more.

The first one I think British, the second one I think is not English first language. If I were to hazard a guess I would say a Scandinavian who speaks English very well.

A fun game, but not sure what the point of it is - we know that foreigners are enlisted in Ukraine's volunteer battalions.
