And Yet Another Christie Connection

Over the weekend there was news that yet another connection has been found in the Bridge Scandal.
Turns out that the Port Authority Police officials, in particular the Union Boss, Paul Nunziato, made the statement regarding the now-famous Traffic Study. Additionally, Port Authority Police Lt. Thomas "Chip" Michaels escorted Wildstein during the bridge closure and seemed to know about the closures beforehand. This latest round of information is attributed to, what else, e-mails.
Why is this latest bit of news important? Michaels is a lifelong friend of, who else, Chris Christie. Not only that, he coached Christie's son in hockey.
There's more; his brother Jeffrey Michaels, a republican lobbyist, contributed to the Christie campaign. They, Wildstein, Christie and Michaels all grew up together in Livingston, NJ.
It was reported that commuters stuck in traffic were approached by PA Police on the bridge and specifically asked motorists if they were "frustrated" to complain to the Mayor of Fort Lee. Really!? Sokolich, the Mayor of Fort Lee sent a letter to the Port Authority asking for an explanation and relief.
This just keeps on getting better as time moves on. Who else in Jersey was involved? Seems as though every governor-appointed official is involved in this scandal, and yet Christie continually denies any knowledge.
By the way, Patrick Foye, the Chief of the NY Port Authority, has ordered an investigation into Michaels involvement in the scandal. The strange thing about the PAPD's claim that the Fort Lee Mayor was responsible is ludicrous.
The Mayor has nothing to do with Bridge business, actually that responsibility belongs solely to the Port Authority.
This is quite a tangled web.

You may have a point there. It seems that Cuomo has been mum on his phone conversation with Christie regarding the Jersey governor's request to call off Patrick Foye from gumming up the works.
Christie knows full well what he's doing. Found out that he attempted to force out his mentor's son, Tom Keane, Jr. once he made it into office.
Now that takes balls. Plus the fact that he strong-armed Mitt during his presidential run.
Oh, he has 'em the size of grapefruits.
That's why the US Attorney is treading lightly, well, at least until he has solid evidence. So far, it seems Christie is several moves ahead of his counterpart. Remember, he was once a Fed.
