A fellow browncoat told me that there is a Firefly reference in the new Shrek movie. He says its at the end, between the King and the Frog (i guess he means between the time the King changes into a Frog, but i could be misinterpreting it)

I saw Shrek 2 but this reference flew right over my head.

Is my friend hallucinating or is there really a reference that I missed?

Maybe he means the king diving in front of Shrek to save him, like the kid did to save Jayne in "Jaynestown"? I'd say that trick is a little well-used to be considered a Firefly moment.

JAYNE "Pain is scary..."

"Me not not licking toads. *slurp* Mmm."

Its good to see I'm not losing my mind. Although a Firefly reference in Shrek wouldv'e been spiffy...

Ok, i just found out that that is the moment my freind is talking about, although i feel the same as you DarkJester.

That doesn't mean we can't convince the rest of the world that thats a firefly moment. The world its pretty gullable, once the BDM comes out, they'll think shrek is pretty cool for its "firefly reference."
