OK, I just saw the Series Finale of Angel and all I have to say is that there better be some TV Movies after this because that was one of the most anti-climactic endings I've ever seen on television. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone hasn't seen it yet but believe me when I say it most definately leaves the door open to something after the series. You'll know what I mean when you see the last minutes of the finale.

Who said that was the series finale? Whedon said that he was going to end the season as if there was going to be a season six rather than ending the series. There is still the chance that Whedon and 20th Century FOX will shop it to another channel for season six.
Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

I wouldn't count on the series continuing in any incarnation. In most of David Boreanaz's interviews he says he does not, under any circumstances, want to return to the character. And anyway, chances are, there would be no characters to return with. I think it was a fitting end to the series where they went out in a grand heroic gesture, still "fighting the good fight". I'm not happy to see the last of the Joss Whedon shows go by any means, but I think it was handled well. I'm not holding my breath for more from the BtVS/AtS verse, but instead am looking ahead toward the BDM.
