In this one I could provide the link as there were no spoilers. I did enjoy Joss' list of favorite BTVS and ATS moments. Very interesting choices.

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and they CANCELLED MY FRIKKIN' SHOW. I totally shoulda took the road that had all those people on it. Damn." --Joss

EW: So they invested millions in a show they didn't like, just to kill it? Why would they do that?
JW: [Bewildered] Because Fox is a bad network that makes bad decisions. [ While The WB would not comment, a Fox spokesperson said: "We wish Firefly had found an audience, and we would like nothing better than to be in business with Joss again."]

Seems now that Joss doesnt have any ties to Fox he can call it as he sees it.

The Fox spokesperson is off his/her nut!! If they really wished Firefly had found an audience they woulda given it a decent time slot and more than 11 eps.... Fox.. may they ROT IN HELL

I just noticed that this thread was also started under the title of Entertainment Weekly Interview, it seems we posted at about the same time.

As for this response:

I didn't even think about the fact that he doesn't even work for the studio anymore. Good for him, I agree that he will probably have a lot more freedom to do the things he wants. My only question, which networks are going to take a chance on fantasy television, just as Joss said, it isn't economically feasible anymore, and that is what the networks care about. No one seems to care about quality and thought provoking shows.

The jing mei yong duh piece of luh-suh Fox Network can Nee ta ma duh. Tyen-shia suo-yo duh run doh gai si. Then go strait to guay!
