Sex totally sells Chris, and I'd be willing to bet to a lesser or greater degree that we've all been influenced at some level in our lives by it.
If it was legal for them to do it, they'd be selling cigarettes today in tandem with Victoria's Secret commercials. Half of those models easily smoke to reduce the cravings that the calories an extra stalk of celery would have on their unnaturally lean bodies.
Hell.... they could make it a 3-fer commercial, and advertise tooth whitening specialists to mitigate the yellowing from all the tobacco.
Because my Dad was, I was a Coke drinker as a kid all my life until Britney sold me on Pepsi. Can't explain it, but it worked. Maybe it's the brief glimpse of the Pepsi emblem belly button ring on that perfect navel ....Some real subliminal shit going on there in this Super Bowl commercial:

These days after reading how many people get diabetes in this country from drinking too much pop especially, I rarely, if ever indulge in pop (or soda, depending on which region you hail from). But there's no way I'd even drink Coke today.
I don't understand it, but got to tip my hat to Pepsi for the win there.....
