An in-depth interview from the magazine SFX. I think this interview comes across a lot better than some of the ones that have been circulating, in which David seems to be happy about the show ending. Things get explained out a little bit better in this one.

I also loved the part about Glenn Quinn. R.I.P Glenn.

I didn't catch any spoilers in it, but maybe I looked over it.

But then again, how can they be "spoilers" for episode 20 when episode 20 aired last week???

Gotta say, I feel more at ease with David B. after this interview. That other interview came across very snobbish and I felt like he was being negative toward Joss & crew. Kinda sad to see he never really got close with anyone else on Angel except Glenn. That has to be tough. All the best for him & his family. Sounds like himself focused on the right things.

I am very relieved by this article, and I think it has redeemed him greatly in the eyes of his fans. I just wish he could have said these things in the CNN interview that millions of people saw. However, I was surprised by the comment that Glenn Quinn was the only real friend he had on the show and the only person he hung out with. I remember in a past interview he said that he and Christian Kane were very close, and stayed close after he left the show in season two. He was very excited when Joss called and asked him if he thought CK would be interested in coming back for season 5. But I guess it is just some more of the DB inconsistency illness. How very true and representative of DB's character was this quote from the article "throughout the interview Boreanaz has a schizophrenic attitude towards the WB Network." Just thought that was amusing.
