The prediction is that they say that today, but they won't say that in the future.
They've got a huge PR crisis on their hands right now. Tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people worldwide who had resigned themselves to take the shots against their better judgement just to make this all go away and it hasn't gone away.
Those people don't want to be told to expect to have to take booster shots every year for the rest of their lives.
They've got to tell people that they're not necessary for the time being so half the vaccinated folk don't defect to the non-vaccinated camp while 27 states are fighting Joe Biden*'s unconstitutional mandate.
I mean... shit...
Despite the title of the article, that's not what the "Top WHO and FDA Officials" are even saying.
They're just saying that giving booster shots to those already vaccinated has less ROI than giving the initial shots to people that still can't get them in many places around the globe.
