The One true b!X started Can't Stop the Serenity because it had left the movie theatres and he wanted to see it on the big screen again. 7 years later we have raised over $600,000 for Charity.
It's easy to get involved. If there isn't a screening near you, run an Affiliate event. Gather a few friends, pass the hat for Equality Now and enjoy yourselves! Or have a screening. It's big, it's fun and it's what Browncoats do best.
Registration is now open and in order to take advantage of all the stuff we have to offer, registration has to be complete by March 31st.

Can I get an 'Amen'...?

If you haven't been to a theater near you to watch the most ravenous sci-fi fans in the Verse laugh, cry and cheer on the Big Damn Heroes, you haven't seen Serenity the way it was intended to be seen while fighting for a good cause all at the same time.

CSTS Vancouver (BC)2012 is being held on Saturday, June 9th, at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre from 11 am to 5:30 pm. In addition to the star of the show - Serenity, we will have a costume contest, silent auction, Whedonverse trivia bingo, grab bags and more. And it's not to late to Register! There are deadlines and then there are deadlines! For events to be held in August –register no later than 30 June
For events to be held in September – no later than 31 July. We have 3 new cities this year - one in Australia, one in Canada and one in the US. and it would be great to see even more.

Can't Stop the Serenity starts this weekend with screenings in Vancouver, Canada, Nottingham, UK and what promises to be a weird and wacky Affiliate affair in Lawrence Kansas called the Dancing Monkey Story Time. It will be live streamed so we can all enjoy it. The Vancouver screening has gotten some amazing things for their auction and you can see them at http://serenityscreeningvan.blogspot.ca/.
