Driving into work I heard a segment on teh radio about men not crying.

First caller in said "I'm the one that cries in movies, my girlfriend looks at me like I'm crazy." The radio DJ's asked when he cried last, he sheepishly said this weekend. They asked what movie, and he answered "Serenity" One of the DJs gets some geek cred for going oh yeah, the skewering,then proceeded to call the tv show it was based on Firefox.... he lost some geekcred there.

Still a great way to start the morning, I cheered when I heard Serenity get a mention.

Always always well up in Serenity when that shot of the ship comes on, with the music and all, before the buffer panel flies off.

I would be sooo stoked to wake up to THAT in the morning, even with the screwup. All the times we've worn our FF shirts, we've only had one person say something, 'course that don't mean that more don't know what it is and don't just wanna go all geek on strangers, but...

Is it wrong I restrained myself from mobilizing hte BC's to do a write in campaign to make sure he remembers the name of the show next time? :D

I decided being overwhelmed with zealous browncoat email might not be the best tactic. It does make me want to call into local radio stations and name drop a certain show on the air...
