New season started tonight...

Hmm. About time Season 4 of the original started here in Blighty... Its usually around this time of year.

Never quite understood why it had to be remade...

I've tried to follow both, which gets a bit confusing, but I think it's kinda interesting. It's the same folks who created the original, so the SyFy isn't a 'remake', but sort of a twist on how the story is told. Instead of character so - and -so, dying in the first season, the audience gets see them carry on, and how that influences the story. Stuff like that, makes it a bit more watchable, and not a complete do = over, for the SyFy crowd.

Bump.

...and for those of us here on airstrip one, the UK version starts its new season on Sunday (5th) on BBC 3 and BBC HD.

I don't frequent BBC America as often as I should. I'm a season behind on the original show. which has quite a different story arc than does the SyFy version.

...new (UK) season seems to be shaping up nicely.

"I tell you, these guys, they're dedicated, they're disciplined..."
"They're eating my focus group!"

Well, this season sure isn't going anything like I expected.

Nice twists, a couple of stretches, but still entertaining.

Nice to see some old faces again.

Looks like major changes are due for the roomies n the Syfy series as well. Not as drastic ( yet ) as BBC version, but they're not letting things get mundane and stale, that's for sure.

Hello,

I am enjoying the season so far.
