For those interested in how we're doing, the site statistics for April 2004 are as follow:
Total Hits: 2,413,800
Hits per day: 80,460
Page Views: 675,488
Page views per day: 22,516
Total visitors: 108,916
Average visitors per day: 3,630
Files accessed: 1,952,789
Total bytes: 24.6G
It's a slight decrease from March, but not much. Possibly due to a lack of 'Serenity' news. March was big because of the movie announcement.

Overall, I would say the Firefly Fandom is as strong as ever, if not more so. June will definately be a good month when production starts.

Excellent, Haken. How's the financial support working out? Any word on the Browncoat Marketplace?
Thanks for all you do and congratulations on the Site of the Week award.

109,000 visitors. Unique, I assume? Impressive!
Hey Haken . . . would this be near any record for fff.net? If not, what is and when?
Now, 'Tash mentioned "site of the week". Who says and when? Congrats, dude.
And if you need any further donations for the cause (because I want this site to continue without personal and financial pain for you), please suppress your Modesty Subroutine and let us know.
Otherwise, Keep Flyin'!

Well, from donations to ad clicks, they're all down to a fraction of what they were back in January, which is expected. Don't worry about it too much though. We're doing okay and I recently took on a side project for a legitimate business to try and earn some extra money to fund this site. If all goes well and I actually finishes the the project, the money earned will pay for FFF.NET for several months.
As for the Marketplace, I'm still working out the technical details. Paypal just began offering several new merchant services that I'm going to try and integrate into the Marketplace so that Browncoat merchants can accept payment. I have yet to see anyone do this on a fansite (or a commercial site for that matter), so it's certainly an interesting project to undertake.
I would say we're doing pretty okay. My only concern is that with my spare time divided, I don't have as much time to work on Firefly Universe, the Marketplace, and the IRC chat services on FFF.NET.

Don't know where you find the time for what you're doing up to this point anyway :-)
I hope to make a donation soon.
Others? Don't be shy, y'all.
