Arrests for nothing. Big fat police on skinny kids. Very telling. Cowards.
I couldn't even be there myself, I'd force a pile of cops to kill me- I SO respect these people who go quietly. It takes so much strength.

It's spreading, you Alliance scum.
Can't stop this signal now.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

It must suck to be a NYC cop today. Talk about hating your job. Being paid to be a fascist creep must really lower your self esteem some.
Or they could be robots...

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.

That's the truth of it.

Thanks.

BTW, where is AU standing in all this? Haven't heard a peep from him on the matter...

Oh, and only 400 arrested? What? They couldn't get them ALL??? Nice that they tried to pick all colours, ages & genders, though. Wouldn't wanna seem like Nazis or anything...

And they don't get their fat pension if they arrest the real copkillers from 9/11. Where does that get fun?

700 of America's most passionate were arrested yesterday blocking the Brooklyn Bridge. Now anything that keeps people from leaving Brooklyn must be a good thing, so I hope none of those arrested were treated too unpleasantly.

Check the Drudge Report, there's a picture on the home page of about a dozen fat cops on the Brooklyn Bridge. When I saw it I remembered all those "cops in a dounut shop" jokes.

What I find as outrageous as anything else is just how blatant the bribery was.

New York City Police Foundation — New York

JPMorgan Chase recently donated an unprecedented $4.6 million to the New York City Police Foundation. The gift was the largest in the history of the foundation and will enable the New York City Police Department to strengthen security in the Big Apple. The money will pay for 1,000 new patrol car laptops, as well as security monitoring software in the NYPD's main data center.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly sent CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon a note expressing "profound gratitude" for the company's donation.

"These officers put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe," Dimon said. "We're incredibly proud to help them build this program and let them know how much we value their hard work."

So much for serving the public trust and conflicts of interest, right ?
