Is Nicolas Cage immortal? Actor's amazing Civil War doppelganger posted on eBay ... and it's yours for only $1million

The antique dealer jokes that his photo is proof Nicolas Cage is more than just an a-list actor - he’s also a vampire who lived during the American Civil War.

An eBay seller claims to have a 4” by 2.5” carte de visite photo from around 1870 of a man who looks exactly like the 47-year-old star of Con Air, Ghost Rider and The Rock.

The seller, who has put the starting price at $1million, says the photo is 100 per cent genuine and was taken of a man who lived in Bristol, Tennessee, around the time of the Civil War.

That's funny, must be one of his ancestors. But in the 80s Nicholas was in a movie called Vampire's Kiss which was a really bizzarre movie, but he did a really good job portraying his charactor, it was one of his first movies I'm thinking.

You never know nowadays if something like that is photoshopped, though to put most fears to rest, vampires couldn't be photographed in those eras. Accounts vary why, it might be due to the use of silver compounds in the film, or it might be a similar phenomenon like how vampires don't have a reflection in any mirror. Motion picture film follows a similar principle.

Unfortunately, this trick doesn't work with digital cameras.

First Nicolas Cage was accused of being a vampire. Now John Travolta is suspected of travelling through time.
The evidence is a photo from the 1860s that features a man who looks like Travolta. In the auction's description, the seller writes, "For those of you who don't know, John Travolta is a Scientologist and many Scientologists believe in a type of reincarnation. Of course, time travel can't be ruled out as well." The asking price? $50,000.
