I'd love to go to Comic Com but it's 3,000 mile from here and I hear the lines are really long.

Same problem for me too plus the financial cost.

Besides, I have a family member currently suffering from terminal cancer, which is why I haven't been on FFF.NET much lately. Something like that just puts everything on hold.

Anyway, I do have friends who are at Comic Con. Just totally stoked at seeing what they've been posting on FB, Twitter, and G+. Lots of great stuff coming down the entertainment pipeline in the near future. Looking forward to seeing them all.

Geez, just saw the headlines over on CNN.com: first gay marriages performed in New York. Didn't know they'd get pictures already. :<)

My deepest sympathies, hon. Two and a half years my life was on hold with dad...and me holding my breath through every visit...Cancer is such an ugly, ugly waste- in soo many ways.
Hang in there. That's all you can do, right?

My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
My father is currently in the process of going through radiotherapy for his cancer. Although thankfully for him they found it early enough before it spread so we are hopeful.
I hope everything goes as well as it possibly could under the circumstances.

As for Comic-Con then I am approx 5400 miles away so it's even less likely than some of you guys and gals. But I have always said that if I ever visited America it would have to include San Diego and Comic-Con. I would arrange it so that it did.

My condolences Haken. Having walked in those shoes twice now I know what you and your family are going through. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

That's sad.

It's good to see you around, Haken, considering what's going on. Keep your spirits up.
