A REVIEW
I watched Osama tonight. The rental DVD had some kind of glitch that would not allow the movie to play, only the adverts. Eventually it did play after ejecting several times. Menu button never worked (no markers set during editing), but there was a working menu displayed after opening videos and end of movie.
It was made by an Afghan director/producer in Afghanistan in 2003, 2 years after the US invasion and during this neverending war, using Afghan actors who had never acted, never seen a movie, never watched TV. He obviously didn't have to pay them very much. But they did a very good job. They speak Afghan with English subtitles throughout the movie.
The female star of the movie was paid $14, because she could neither read nor write a contract.

Homosexual overtones throughout the movie. Heterosexuality was considered the worst of all evils by the screenplay. It's perfectly "normal" for heroic mothers to crossdress their daughters, even if it means the death penalty.
No mention of the Taliban dining at the Bush ranch, signing oil pipeline deals.
No mention that the Taliban stopped heroin production, which has now increased 10,000% -- USA USA USA!
No mention of USA whatsoever, no mention of 9/11.
No US troops bombing wedding parties. No US soldiers whatsoever. As if they were never there, and are not there now. CIA does not exist.
This appears to be a propaganda movie by jews (MGM) to "justify" the US invasion, looting and massacre of Afghanistan, after the kosher false-flag terror attack in USA on 9/11/2001 (actually the invasion order was signed by GW Bush 1 day before 9/11). This propaganda is mainly aimed at the Afghani movie customers, but promotes worldwide the jewish myth that all Muslims are evil.
Guess the jews didn't appreciate the Taliban and kosher Osama Bin Laden kicking kosher Commie Russian ass with CIA help (who put radical Muslims in charge of all middle eastern nations).
The Manchurian director got his Commie film degree in Commie Moscow under Commie rule, after being brainwashed to hate the Taliban freedom fighters, er, filthy insurgents. All Russian cinema is bleak with unhappy endings, due to living under genocidal oppression from the jews, this one is no exception.
