PN, how can you be such an idiot?
No stars visible from the sun-drenched surface of the moon, just as it is very difficult to see stars at night in a bright city like New York or Chicago.
The strongest argument that we actually did land men on the moon is that the Soviet Union did not say anything negative about it. Because of the on-going space race and the Cold War atmosphere of the time, you know they would have put up a tremendous protest about it if they suspected we had faked it.

BTW, I thought this was going to be about the great UFO conspiracy show that aired on NBC in 1995-96 that is now out on DVD. There is already another thread about that around here somewhere.

I know I have a hard time getting photos of stars like those above when it's bright and sunshiny out.

Space Shuttle astronuts talk about all the super-bright stars, then their shuttles suddenly explode...as seen in this video:
NASA does not allow shuttle astronuts to take official photos of stars, to keep the Apollo fantasy alive a little longer.
Since there's no atmosphere on the Moon, it would be easy to photograph stars in "daylight" since the sky is always black.

Apollo 18 was the US/Russian spacecraft docking in orbit. You don't do that if there is actually competition. BTW moon is spelled lowercase to describe a movie set on Earth, uppercase to name a satellite planet orbiting Earth. All satellites in the Solar System are uppercase. Freemasons call this hoodwinked, and they ran NASA with the Nazi warcriminals.
So yes, NASA did walk on the "moon" (lowercase), but not on the "Moon". Plenty of dead human bodies have gone splat on the Moon, or cremated corpses have been exploded on the Moon by private rocket launches, but no humans survived to walk on Earth.
They were cooperating every day since the Russian Commie Revolution 1917 financed by the jew banksters in USA and UK.
USA willingly gave Eastern Europe to Commie Russia after WW2, along with 50,000 US/UK POWs and 1,000s of Nazi warcriminals to run their space "race".
Today Russia has a space shuttle that looks exactly like NASA's. It's like the movie Contact, where 2 wormhole machines were built for the price of 1, with US taxdollars.

Russian Buran space shuttle
Russia got their nukes from USA. Ask Rep. Joe McCarthy.
Commie Russian generals commanded all US troops in the Vietnam Wars, via the United Nations Security Council. That's why we lost, and the New World Odor won. Col Fletcher Prouty and other US soldiers have discussed this fact.
Now USA has a Commie dictator.

"Surprisingly, the Moon is a moderately bright gamma-ray source. The only part of the electromagnetic spectrum where the Moon is brighter than the Sun is gamma rays. The surface of the Moon is baldly exposed to cosmic rays and solar flares. When cosmic rays hit the ground, they produce a dangerous spray of secondary particles right at your feet, and trigger little nuclear reactions that release yet more radiation in the form of neutrons. The lunar surface itself is radioactive!"

PN, I think you're the only one here who believes that particular conspiracy theory. I think most of us are pretty set in our beliefs and that you won't be able to change our minds.

Any idiot should know that you can't photograph stars during the daytime, regardless of whether the sky is black or not... it's still DAYTIME!!
PN: Just look at any of the photos taken from the Shuttle or ISS when it's on the day side — you just see a starless black sky.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Examination_of_Apollo_Moon_photographs
Here's the deal: You could adjust the exposure on the camera so that you can see the stars during daytime in orbit, but everything else in the frame that's being hit by sunlight would bloom into a big featureless white blob.

Even when they're on the night side, and there are LIGHTS in the frame! Anything bright will wash out the stars.

Ah, but CLJ and ECG, you have to also remember that photography in space is completely impossible in the first place, because the intense radiation would completely fry any camera, and would render any film unusable.
(I've actually heard PN make this argument before.)

Stars photographed from Space Shuttle in space, that Apollo said was not only impossible, but that no stars were visible:

The green airglow light shows up beautifully from orbit in this time exposure photograph. The blurred lights in the foreground are cities. Credit: NASA
Astronauts get the best view of all of the phenomenon. As they peer out the windows of the International Space Station and space shuttle, the glow reveals itself as a thin green band enveloping the Earth. In a wonderful coincidence of nature, the color of light emitted by excited oxygen is the same as the plants that produce it in the first place: green.

The shuttle and Apollo only flew in Low Earth Orbit, which is protected from deadly radiation by the Magnetosphere's Van Allen Radiation Belt force field. So film and chip photography is possible without lead shielding.

After some failed attempts in the previous days, I managed to capture star trails while the docked ISS and Space Shuttle Endeavour (STS-127) were passing "close" to the celestial pole.

The space fog argument is a dead issue, they took lots of pictures.
Also, the relative brightness issue is a non issue, they had the negatives and burn ins had been done for a century and change at this point.

The feather flexes like a feather, and then falls like a rock. It appears to be a feather falling in a vacuum in 1971 on Apollo 15.
