I realize I'm stuck in the past here, but sometimes when I watch Castle I feel like he's been cheating on Inara...I like what they had better.The whole love hate thing that inspires sonnets...and wars!

Sometimes he and Beckett bore me, just do it...or don't, but sitting in limbo insults my (and their) intelligence...

I still love the show, 'cause it's super fun...but I never really saw them together.

Well, I don't want to harsh on another fan-pairing, it becomes important to people, and I've learned it's not my place to judge.

I do prefer Mal and Inara, because I think there was more basis given for them liking and caring for each other as persons, separate from their jobs. And more real complications and frustrations that kept them apart and fighting each other instead.

But that's not to say that Castle and Beckett might never get there through writing. I mean, there was an entire eight months where Inara was on the ship that we didn't get to see their relationship evolve. We jumped in at a point well past mere attraction.
