The only reason this is news at all on FFF.NET is that at one time or another rumors were circulating that both Jewel Staite and Summer Glau might be interested in being on Charlie's Angels. More than anyone, Summer Glau can definitely do it.

I don't care if either Jewel or Summer end up on this show since I didn't like the original series and never watched either of the movies. But that's okay, you can post anything you want to as long as you include pictures of all the pretties.

20th century television retreaded for the 21st. The essential nature of TV is the system's need to fill airtime. The sheer quantity of material required, and the speed with which it must be created, means the system rewards productivity, not creativity. It does not forbid or eliminate creativity, but not rewarding it is enough to minimize such efforts.

I don't want them in it. I want them available for "Firefly: Second 'Verse". Of course, this thing will probably only last two months, anyway...

Are you kidding? It'll probably last longer than the original.

1st - Hell no. The Angels had their time. Let it be.

2nd - Summer? Possibly, as she fits well into the sexy, ass kickin' type. Jewel ? As attractive as she is, I don't see her as an angel. Maybe fitting into the role of Sabrina, but still....

3rd - See # 1

#1--Tell that to the folk working on HAWAII 5-0.

#2--Or the CHARLIE'S ANGELS movies.

#3--Or the BSG remake. :P

I'm not saying that *I* think it's a good idea, but like it or not, remakes CAN draw a big audience. Book 'em, Dano.

It's sounds interresting, I just hope it's not as stupidly dramatic as Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice, which is probably unlikely because of all of the action sequences that I expect BUT I still don't want them to ruin Charlie's Angels like the Gidget movie was by all of the horrible sequels and the horrible show after that. Also, I don't want it to just be about sex like the second Charlie's Angels film was; that thing was ridiculous.

General Hospital's Annie Ilonzeh has landed the role of Kate, one of the Angels, who is described as a very athletic ex-cop, well-versed in martial arts and a little more serious than her teammates, Abby and Marisa.
