Have any of you Planet of the Apes movies peeps seen this???
The music was obviously added to give us something to listen to, but this ending would have totally bummed me!!!

Another thing- this is the SAME bomb in Beneath the Planet of the Apes
that appears in Battle For the Planet of the Apes.
Kinda temporally weird.
Also suggests different timeline possibilities.
Or- maybe just a cool re-used prop out of the 20th Century Fox warehouse...
Either way, the "Apes" movies were a great series back in the day- can you tell Sonisall & I are visiting them right now?

Yeah, I seen it for the first time when I purchased the Blu-Ray. Dark, dark stuff. Pretty cool though.

Let me think....Of course you should. Pure escapist tv at its best. Roddy Mcdowall shines as Galen.
The only other 14 episode show to equal it is Firefly.

It takes place abut 800 years before the events of the first film, so the humans can still speak but they aren't treated very kindly by the apes. Mark Leonard as Urko is another plus for the series. He is a pretty good bad guy.
I really do enjoy it more than the film sequels. Hope you dig it.
