Funny, this is pretty much equivalent to what got Dan Rather, the liberal, remember him?, forced into retirement. I guess that when you're a friend of the MSM, which means that you bring in the BIG bucks, advertising wise, they'll bury a story about you being incompetent.

This surprises exactly who? Everyone with any brains knows Limbaugh doesn't check his stories or sources half the time; if it's what he wants, he grabs it and runs with it, and his audience laps it up.

The only valid response to the question is to defend Rush for reporting a hoax as "news" before finding out the facts...please do try. Don't compare him to someone else, he's YOUR guy, again and again we've been told how he doesn't lie, he finds out the facts, yada yada. Don't change the subject.
