If God made everything, and us as well, why do we have the need for the horizontal mambo like, say, sheep or monkeys do?
How is it WE have souls, but OTHER horny creatures don't?
If humans AND chimps both masturbate, doesn't that indicate an erotic sentient awareness that disproves the concept of OUR exclusivity of freedom of choice in the procreative world?

Animals have souls, they are NOT redeamable though. They do not have the intelligence to understand about the choice we have, of chooseing to believe or not.

I'm not understanding the connection between souls and sex. Are you asking two different questions?

As far as "Do animals have souls?", the question is not resolved biblically (if you are looking for a Christian perspective) as there aren't a lot of verses that say one way or the other. One is Ecclesiastes 3:21 in which there is a question posed: "Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?". This seems to imply that animals and humans all have spirits. But it is unwise to make firm, doctrinal statements based on one verse (since the author was using this hypothetical question as an example to make another point -- that humans don't know much).

Humans, like animals, are God's creation (formed from the "dust", hence the name "Adam" means "dirt" in hebrew), but they are a bit different than the other animals because they were "made in his image" (and defining that gets to be a whole other topic altogether, but suffice to say, God's natural form is likely not David Hasselhoff... or Alannis Morisette, for that matter... :) as he is likely not contained by gender or even physical form in his fullest manifestation) and God has given humans a special responsibility to be "stewards" (not conquerers, as is commonly misinterpreted) of the earth. Ideally, there was supposed to be a harmony between man and nature but humans, having a free will, can do what they want...

The question of "is God a perv?" an interesting one. Is a human a perv if they watch two hyenas humping in the zoo? I suppose it depends on their reaction to it. Some things are just natural and can be observed naturally without all of the negative baggage that humans attach to it. That's a start, anyway. Someone else can elaborate if they want.

Here's what I think: Basically God like all uber evolved folks has a high stimulation threshhold...he/she also has waaaaay too much time on their hands...boredom will lead the uber evolved to do very strange things to amuse themselves....and thats why things on earth are the way they are...just a theory.
