So great that a major sponsor is backing Castle. A good indicator of the show's, and star's(!), mass appeal. Well how 'bout that?
What is extra interesting is that Mike Rowe of 'Dirty Jobs' is a Ford spokesman. I guess Ford is going for the whole good lookin' man with charm, wit, and a flash of mischief in his eyes. This are product reps that both guys and gals are attracted to. It may be calculated target marketing on Ford's part... but me like it very much...
An extra, extra, interesting factoid is that Nathan Fillion and Mike Rowe knew each other back in the day in New York! I remember reading that as young actors in the big town they lived in the same apartment building.
Very happy for Nathan that he is gaining the well deserved attention he's earned.

Oh yes. On the show Mike can get very mischievous. But the "flash" description is geared more to when he appears on the Ford commercials. His raunchy humor isn't verbalized, but the spark can be seen behind the eyes. Seems there's a limit to how much "playfulness" Ford will allow in their expensive, mainstream commercials... darn it...

Heh... heh... Very funny montage. I remember seeing this a while back on the Discovery Channel, it's great! Yes, Mike can get very playful, and raunchy, on the show and the double-entendres are fun. I'm thinking all those lines are improvised on the spot, and he's good. Nathan is also awesome at improv and hysterically funny, although his humor doesn't as often go to the 'raunchy place'.
Ford has good taste in guys.
