I've read a few threads that said the original episode scripts were posted here, like "Dead or Alive" and "Heart of Gold," even managed to find a couple. Just can't find them again; when I hit SCRIPTS in the frame, all I get is a black screen. Sooo... I'm thinking maybe they were taken down, but I really would like to get copies of as many as I could, just to read through a time or two.

I know approximations are posted on TVTome or somesuch, but not what I'm looking for... the Browncoats on FFF.net know what I'm talkin' about.

Maybe y'all can steer me in the right direction?

I, too, would be interested in knowing where those scripts were posted. I've found a few, but not all. FireSpy mentioned he was working on getting the pilot ep uploaded back in March 2003, but I can't find it. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

See, here's why it pays to read deep into threads. Just after I posted my first reply, I came across a response in another thread that lead me to a website that has all the aired episodes of Firefly in script form:

Click on any of the 'Features' at the top of the home page, then along the left hand side, you will see all of the past features, including the original draft scripts for dead or alive, the message, trash, and heart of gold.

All the shooting scripts were available from Buffyscripts.net, but that site seems to have disappeared. It's gone.

Thanks, Shiny, that is what I was looking for. I was there once, but couldn't find my way back because I couldnt remember how I got there in the first place. No trail of bread crumbs behind.

Do you know if there are any more of the "original draft" scripts available? I see there might have been a problem with posting them at some point...

The ones on twixtv are transcrpts of the released film. I'm interested in the draft-to-final-product differences.

It was never created. Parts of the epsiode, both story wise and expositionally, got moved to other episodes.
