Possibly impossible request: Change e-mail address?

Since Haken's been so great about making this site user-friendly so far, I though I might mention one feature that I'd appreciate a lot: The ability to change your set e-mail address. Apple recently announced that they intend to start charging $100 a year for Mac.com e-mail accounts, which is completely insane if you ask me, so I was looking to switch addresses. But unfortunately, your account on this site seems to be bound to your address.

If it's too much trouble, I could just re-register and start over. But I just thought I'd mention it in case it seemed possible.

Nothing is impossible . Let me see what I can do. You're not the first to ask about this and likely won't be the last. I'll let you know when it's done.

In the meantime, though, if you want, I can manually change it for you. Just shoot me an email and let me know what your new address is.

And...say what? $100 for a MAC.COM email account? I guess they have to generate additional revenue somehow. Did you hear? Apple is creating an iPOD for Windows.

Hmmmm....I just got an idea. If I had the time, I can actually build a whole webmail interface for this site and give you a FIREFLYFANS.COM email account for free. I better add that to the to-do list.
