London was already an effed up place, before the tax just to enter the city.

Ethnic cleansing is taking place in most US towns and cities, by raising property taxes to force foreclosures and tax sales on old folks and disabled folks to steal their homes. Property tax is rent to the local robber baron, at gunpoint.

New Orleans is the best example. If taxes don't work fast enough, just bomb em, shoot em, deport em and ban em.

A valuable lesson, to my mind. Just because someone is quoted saying something awful, you can't jump to conclusions. That statement really needs to be looked at in the context of the conversation and also in the context of a person's whole life.

I'm not, and EVERYONE should.

I'm an ass. I ask questions and play devil's advocate, because it helps me to learn and grow, I hope. I snark because it's fun.

But everybody should probably question everybody, starting with themselves. The most informative, most introspective moments I've ever had in life came from asking myself, "Why do you THINK that? Why do you BELIEVE that?" I'd heartily (hardily) recommend it.

So you want EVERYONE to be as crazy as me ?
That's not very comforting since imma antisocial lunatic mostly *because* of that.

One who happens to be at the moment, awake, pissed off, and digging through the box of electronics to build an ultrasonic howler to tape to the west wall, since my new neighbor doesn't seem to comprehend the fact that other people live in this building (two official noise violations so far) AND made the dire mistake of putting his big screen TV up against MY bedroom wall and playing it loudly at all hours as well as leaving it on while he isn't even home.

Thing is, once you have dumped that horrific device from your life, after a couple years even the SOUND of one will set your teeth horribly on edge and grind your nerves intensely, ok ?

And I don't get enough damn sleep as it is...
And so, since without multiple witnesses it's my word against his...

Then imma just build this damn howler, pop the back out of the top dresser drawer and tape the goddamn thing to the wall and leave it on.

Either he'll wise up, or the effects will drive him insane, and since his behavior and sleep deprivation is driving me in that direction I don't much feel too guilty about it.

Worst of it is all that bangin, boomin and thumpin at all hours sets off the crazy lady who shares my back wall, who starts pounding on MY back wall in response, and I wind up a collateral recipient of BOTH idiots racketmaking.

I suspect one of the first things imma do when I do get a house is put motion tracker targeted directional screamers out there everywhere but in direct line to the mailbox - cause I am bitterly annoyed at peoples lack of even the simplest respect for others - *I* do not do this crap, hell, I even make sure to run my washer/dryer ONLY when the other folk are not home since it's the only thing even possibly audible beyond a couple feet in here.

Anyhows, that being my only motivation for this, and race be damned - this is annoyance cleansing, not ethnic cleansing.
