Man... I can't even learn Spanish. There's no way I'd ever learn an Asian language.
I've done some stuff like Rosetta Stone and Babel before. I'd say that for my mind the Babel would have had a much better chance of working for me if I stuck with it.
I know enough to say greetings, introduce myself and ask for somebody's name. I could string together a few sentences like asking where the bathroom is. Unless things really change, I don't see a real need to know much more than that unless I wanted to get into some sort of management position where it would be an asset to be fluent in both.

Trump said its not an easy langauge and he's correct I believe he has a grand daughter learning Mandarin, maybe Trump’s Granddaughter is even learning to write it, Japanese can be difficult but Chinese is more difficult again.
