Faber added that he has a "high confidence prediction" that "total collapse will come."

I think it's clear that Obama is trying to break the back of capitalism here in the US, by piling on so much needless, useless debt on the country at this time.

It's a win/win for the President. Either all his cronies get to line their pockets with the money frm the work of our children and grand children, or the economy breaks, which leaves only the Fed Gov't to step in and take over ( You never want a serious crisis to go to waste - remember? )

Ever tried to get angry scared people to listen? Good rhetorical example is Tiananmen square, only with the government having already thrown away all it's support structure, and having razed the ground they were going to rebuild on.

If the economy collapses (and I think it will, and I agree that it's being done on purpose), the government will collapse too. It's what I've been saying all along, their own greed and ambition will end them. Serves 'em right, playing with everyone the way they've been.

Likely a few people will just want order restored, and they'll happily accept martial law in some cities, but in other places I suspect there's going to be break aways, and not much even the army, with it's many, many deserters in this scenario, can do.
