Bones - Finally saw the OTHER Deschanel sister sing.

Ok, so it was from last year, but I just saw it. Zoey definitely got the singing talent of the two, I'll give her that.

I think Emily has a better voice than Temperance Brennan showed in that episode. In character as "Bones," she was nervous so she wasn't as good as Emily herself could be under other circumstances.
I will admit Zooey does have a great voice. I've got several She & Him mp3s, and I love them.

What's weird is how I can hear the similarity in their voices. Like when I'm listening to Zoey sing ( I've got a She and Him song dl'd ) it sounds so strikingly like Emily. But only the tone of her voice, I suppose. When Emily sang, ( as Temperance ) , she sounded - not so good. And she didn't sound anything like Zoey. I'm wondering if song selection had anything to do w/ that, and - or she intentionally tried NOT to sing as well as she otherwise might, so as to avoid folks comparing her to her sister ?
It's just weird, somehow. Oh well.
