I have been watching Firefly on Sci fi Uk.They have shown all the episodes back to back.Its the first time ive watched them with Mal/book's monologues before the start of each ep.Interesting.Although it was nice to finally hear them as they were originally aired,I found them somewhat unnecessary.They weren,t particularly well done IMO.Sounded a bit "rushed" even superfluous.I must admit i actually prefer them without

They were "rushed", and are entirely unnecessary & superfluous, if you see the pilot first.

I liked them and I wished they were on the DVDs. If I had to describe the series to someone really quickly that's the type of thing I'd say. If only I could recite them verbatim.
