Did you realize that if you go into any thread and replace the words 'Joss Whedon' or 'Joss' with 'God', 'Firefly' with 'Jesus', and 'Serenity' with 'every lasting life' we would officially be a religious site?

Joss gave us Firefly, but sadly it was taken away too early, but due to this we now have Serenity.

Just a random thought / excercise.

Heh, not even close. The number of arguments and disagreements on this site should be proof enough that we do not have a shared belief outside of "Firefly is shiny."

I live in Abilene, Texas, which bears a strong physical resemblance to just about every live* location in Firefly (*and "non-live", if you count Niska's "rec room")...and the occasional vague, psychic resemblance to Jonestown...

My first cult too. Whopee! I even attend monthly prayer meetings (Raleigh Browncoat CSTS planning, I guess that's our form of an old fashioned revival?) but I live too far away for the monthly dinners.

I could also take you places that would make Rim settlements look over populated, the latest version of Persephone (Raleigh-Durham area) and boy do we Southerners know about losing (except basketball-go Heels!).
