extra huge avatar?

What's the deal with the extra huge 100x32 avatar?

Is this some kind of special status thing, I thought the rule was 32x32.

Far as I can tell, the standard size is 48x48... but pictures wider than they are tall are proportionally shrunk such that the height is 48. There are a few other posters with 'widescreen' avatars too.

Is it a problem?

I have never seen a measurement for our avatars, I just matched mine to the size of the existing ones.
